Free-Range Chickens & Eggs
Our laying hens live in houses on wheels that we regularly move to fresh pasture. They scratch the fields for seeds and insects, and enjoy a supplemental diet of organic grain. The hens produce marvelous eggs of many colors, and fertilize the pastures, too!
Our hens are dual purpose (eggs & meat) heritage breeds:
Rhode Island Red, Speckled Sussex, Barred Rock, Buff Orpington, Black Austrolorp, Delaware and Auracana, plus many our own farm-raised mixes.
